Latest Projects

Vermont Dream Project partnered with the South Burlington chapter of the Rotary International Interact Club, Burton Snowboards, Barnes & Noble, Staples, and numerous community businesses and individuals to create an international “Smart Pack” project. In a quest to further international goodwill and understanding, VDP coordinated and led this community venture. Dozens of backpacks filled with school and art supplies, books, and tennis equipment were shared with children through the SHINE organization in South Africa. With overwhelming support and success VDP, has completed similar projects in the U.S. to further our Reading and Racquet Programs.

This summer dozens of racquets were shared with the King Street Center tennis program. Kids that would not typically have the means to play tennis were given the opportunity to attend free lessons and finish the program with their own racquet.
